Altdarroch offers the perfect self catering accommodation for a relaxing break or a family holiday in Scotland. The cottages enjoy a rural setting, allowing visitors to experience the peace and tranquility for which the Scottish Highlands are justly famous.

Altdarroch is on a working croft, so there is lots of room to walk about and for children to play. Just be ready to meet our friendly sheep while you are here!

Altdarroch Farm Cottages

There are stunning views over the mountains and Loch Eil, and magnificent sunsets which will linger in the memory long after your holiday is over. The cottages are located within easy reach of Fort William, nestling at the foot of Ben Nevis, Scotland's highest mountain. In the opposite direction 9 miles away is Glenfinnan, with its world-famous monument to Bonnie Prince Charlie and the equally famous Glenfinnan viaduct, which has recently been used as a backdrop for scenes from the Harry Potter films.

There are three holiday cottages available for rent. Two are in the form of a semi-detached farmhouse and have a Scottish Tourist Board three-star grading, whilst the other is an
all-wooden construction Lodge, and boasts a four-star grading. Each cottage offers well furnished self catering accommodation, and all have a fully fitted kitchen and laundry facilities, representing excellent value for money. They are the ideal place to stay and base yourself to enjoy a holiday in this idyllic part of Scottish Highlands
